When to Visit

The best time to visit Gujarat is during the winter season, i.e. between October and February. Since it is a dry region and experiences high temperatures and humidity; visiting the state in the monsoons (July to September) may also be a good idea especially in the regions that receive less or no rainfall.

Itinerary

DAY 1AHMEDABAD - PAVAGADH via CHAMPANER

Start from Ahmedabad and travel to 145 kms where lies Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located in Panchmahal district in Gujarat, India. It is located around the historical city of Champaner, a city which was founded by Vanraj Chavda, the most prominent king of the Chavda Dynasty, in the 8th century. There are palaces, entrance gates and arches, mosques, tombs and temples, residential complexes, agricultural structures and water installations such as stepwells and tanks, dating from the 8th to the 14th centuries.

DAY 2PAVAGADH - STATUE OF UNITY - VADODRA (B)

From one heritage site to one of the tallest staute in the world. Today we visit Statue of Unity. The Statue of Unity is the tallest structure of its kind in the world. Take this day trip from Ahmedabad to visit the engineering marvel standing at 182m tall. The statue is a tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and it’s surrounded by an enormous man-made lake spread across 12km. Another highlight of this trip is the Sardar Sarovar Dam which is the world’s second largest dam.

DAY 3VADODARA - SAPUTARA (B)

Start your day with lovely local breakfast and embark on a journey to Saputara. Take a deep breath. Disappear. You have entered nature’s womb. There is a never ending list of things you can do here like Go Boating on Saputara Lake or visiting Purna Sanctury. One can also Hatgadh Fort or Vansda National Park.
For nature lovers there is Gira falls and Sunset point. For art lovers there is Tribal Museam and Artist Village. Apart from that if you are interested there is Bee rearing center here.

DAY 4SAPUTARA - SILVASSA (B)

From one nature spot to another, With the hills of the Western Ghats and surrounding lush greenery, it is an ideal indulgence into the wild side for a tourist and its Portuguese heritage makes it famous amongst the history enthusiasts as well.
Silvassa is the capital of the union territory Dadra and Nagar Haveli and is famous for its greenery, exotic resorts, industries and tax – free alcohol.
Places to visit Lion Safari Park, Island Garden & Dudhani.

DAY 5SILVASSA - DAMAN (B)

Today we travel from Hills to Beaches. Daman is a city in the union territory of Daman and Diu, on west coast. The cool beaches, greenery & scenic natural beauty makes Daman a popular destination.
Popular places to visit are Devka Beach, Lighthouse, Jampore Beach & St. Jerome Fort.

DAY 6DAMAN - AHMEDABAD (B)

After breakfast start your tour back to Ahmedabad.
