When To Visit

Best time to visit Leh is during the months of March to Mid May. During this season enjoy the stunning beauty of the landscape of Ladakh and Leh.

Itinerary

DAY 1LEH ARRIVAL

  • On arrival Leh by Airport, meet our representative. He will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel/resort.
  • Day is completely free for you to  acclimatize yourself to the high altitude (11,500 ft / 3500 meter high from sea level). Visit Shankar Gompha, Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa followed by a walk tour in Leh Bazaar for orientation.
  • Overnight at Leh.

DAY 2LEH-SHEY-THIKSE-HEMIS-LEH (B)

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Proceed on a full day sightseeing excursion of Shey-Thikse and Hemis Monasteries.
  • On the way back we visit the Sindhu Ghat and stok Museum.
  • Overnight at Leh.

DAY 3LEH-KHARDUNGLA PASS-NUBRA VALLEY (B)

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Check out &  proceed for Nubra Valley.
  • Enroute stop at Khardungla Pass , (18,380 ft.), highest motorable road in the world, recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records for panoramic view.
  • Enjoy the view of Shayok river on your way to Nubra Valley.
  • Visit Diskit Monestary & Hunder Sand Dunes.
  • On arrival check into the Tent.
  • Overnight at Nubra Valley.

DAY 4NUBRA VALLEY-LEH (B)

  • Breakfast at Camp.
  • Check out & proceed for sightseeing of Nubra Valley.
  • Visit the diskit monastery and the sand dunes to enjoy a camel safari (optional).
  • Later drive to leh over khardung la.
  • Evening take a walk to the local market.
  • Overnight at leh.

DAY 5LEH-PANGONG LAKE-LEH (B)

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Leave for Pangong lake through changla pass 5486 mtrs.
  • Pangong lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m) is a long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km in length, it is bisected by the international border between india and china.
  • After spending some time at pangong we drive back to hotel in leh.
  • Overnight at Leh.

DAY 6LEH AIRPORT DROP (B)

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Check out & transfer to Airport for your onward journey.
  • Tour ends with Sweet Memories…!!!
