When To Visit

The best time to visit Sikkim falls in between months of March to June and from October to December. Summers are truly blissful as the temperatures are on the lower range, a pleasant escape from the heat and hustle-bustle of the plains and towns

Itinerary

DAY 1ARRIVAL NJP RAILWAY STATION / BAGDOGRA AIRPORT - GANGTOK

On arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport, (413 Ft / 126 Mts) you will be met by our office Executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Gangtok (5412 Ft /1650Mts, 130 Kms / 04 to 05 Hrs).
Upon arrival check in at hotel.
Day free for personal activities.
Overnight at Gangtok.

DAY 2GANGTOK – TSHANGU LAKE & BABA MANDIR EXCURSION (B)

Breakfast at hotel.
Start for excursion to TshanguLake (12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way from Gangtok) & Baba Mandir (13100Ft / 3994 Mts / 16Kms in 1Hrs one way from Tshangu Lake.
Evening back to hotel.
Overnight at Gangtok.

DAY 3GANGTOK – LACHEN (B)

Breakfast at hotel.
Check out & proceed to Lachen (9500ft), a village surrounded by snow-capped peaks and beautiful alpine meadows via Chungthang, another quiet and picturesque hamlet on the higher Himalayas famous for its proximity to the Kanchenjunga National park. Chungthang is a sub-divisional town and the gateway to Northern Sikkim.
Visit Singhik view point, naga falls falling on the way.
Check in upon arrival.
Day free to explore the beauty of Lachen.
Overnight at Lachen.

DAY 4LACHUNG-GURUDONGMAR LAKE-LACHUNG (B)

Early Breakfast at hotel.
Proceed Kanchenjunga National park.
After sometimes arrive at the scenic Gurudongmar Lake and after spending an amazing time at the glacial lake.
Return to Lachen for transfer to Lachung .
Arrive at Lachung and check-in to the hotel.
Overnight at Lachung.

DAY 5LACHEN - YUMTHANG - GANGTOK (B)

Early morning proceed on a half day excursion to Yumthang Valley (11800 Ft / 3598 Mts, 25 Kms / 1 ½ hours one way). Visit to Yumthang Valley is a day excursion from Lachung, This valley is also known for its Hot spring.
Afternoon transfer to Gangtok (5412 Ft / 1650 Mts, 124 Kms / 05 ½ to 06 ½ Hrs).
On the way visit Tashi view point, seven sister’s water falls.
Check at hotel upon arrival.
Overnight at Gangtok.

DAY 6GANGTOK – PELLING (B)

Breakfast at hotel.
Check out from the hotel & go for a half day sightseeing tour of Gangtok covering Jhakri Water Falls along with Do-rulChhorten, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sunday) and Flower Show.
Afternoon transfer to Pelling(5500 Ft / 1675 Mts,116 Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs).
Check in upon arrival.
Overnight at Pelling.

DAY 7PELLING SIGHTSEEING (B)

Breakfast at hotel.
Proceed for Pelling sightseeing covering Pemayangtse Monastery, Chenrezig Statue & Skywalk. After early Lunch proceed for sightseeing of Rimbi Water fall, Khecheopalri Lake (6000 Ft / 1829 Mts) & Kanchanjunga Water fall.
Back to hotel.
Overnight at Pelling.

DAY 8PELLING – DARJEELING (B)

Breakfast at hotel.
Check out & transfer to Darjeeling (6710 Ft / 2046 Mts,125 Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs).
Check in upon arrival.
Overnight at Darjeeling.

DAY 9DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING (B)

Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8482 Ft / 2586 Mts at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather).
On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop.
Back to hotel, have breakfast.
Afternoon go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing&Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & panoramic view of Tea Estate.
Back to hotel.
Overnight at Darjeeling.

DAY 10DARJEELING - NJP RAILWAY STATION / BAGDOGRA AIRPORT (B)

Breakfast at hotel.
Check out & transfer to NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport, (413 Ft / 126 Mts,100 Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs) for onwards connection.
Tour ends with Sweet Memories…!!!
