When to Travel

Itinerary

DAY 1TRICHY

  • Arrival at Trichy.
  • Tiruchirappalli (also called Tiruchi or Trichy) is an ancient city in India’s southern Tamil Nadu state.
  • Welcome by our representative and transfer to hotel.
  • Check-in at hotel.
  • After freshen-up you can visit famous Srirangam Temple, surrounded by the waters of the River Kaveri on one side & its tributary Kollidam on the other, is a 600-acre island-town enclosed within the seven walls of the gigantic Sri Renganathaswamy Temple, There are not less than 21 Gopuram here in this temple, one of which is the tallest in South India. then visit Jambukeshwarar Temple another famous temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple represents one of the five elements (water).
  • Evening you can visit famous Rock fort temple most famed landmark is an 83 m high rock which is the only outcrop in the otherwise flat land of the city. The most amazing fact about the rock is that it is one of the oldest in the world approximately 3,800 million years, which makes it as old as the rocks of Greenland & older than the Himalayas, later return back to hotel.
  • Overnight stay at Trichy.

DAY 2TRICHY - MADURAI (B)

  • Breakfast at Hotel.
  • Check-out from Hotel.
  • Start drive to Madurai visit – famous Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple, later visit Thirumalainayak Palace – This palace is built by king Thirumalai Nayak , who was one of the Nayak ruler.
  • Later visit Gandhi Museum – This museum was built to honor our Father of nation, Gandhi JI. It gives a detailed history about his freedom struggle.
  • In the evening visit the sound & light show held at the palace which express the stories depicting Nayak’s life history and about his rule.
  • Overnight stay at Madurai.

DAY 3MADURAI - KODAIKANAL (B)

  • Breakfast at Hotel.
  • Check-out from Hotel.
  • Proceed to Kodaikanal, it is one of another famous hill station in Tamilnadu, filled with full of natural boundaries, whoever visit this hill station n enjoy the beautiful scenery of lush green trees and plantations.
  • Upon arrival check in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.
  • Overnight stay at Kodaikanal.

DAY 4KODAIKANAL (B)

  • Breakfast at Hotel.
  • Proceed for sightseeing tour of Kodaikanal covering places of interest such as Bryant Park – a wonderfully maintained and most popular Botanical garden of the region. The Pillar Rock – a set of three giant pillar type boulders. The Coakers’s walk – provides stunning views along the walkway. The Green valley view – formerly known as the suicide point is yet another beautiful view point. Guna caves – known as devils kitchen is now popular after the name of Tamil movie Guna which was shot here. Pine forest – a treasure trove of Kodaikanal keep you and camera busy.
  • End your day tour at the Kodaikanal boast Kodai Lake – a man-made star shaped lake spread over sixty acres of area. You can indulge in various activities in here like bi-cycling, horse riding, pedal boating etc.(On direct payment basis) A walk around the lake is very relaxing in the natures lap.

DAY 5KODAIKANAL - COIMBATORE (B)

  • Breakfast at Hotel.
