Tour Details

Ramanathaswamy Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site with ornate corridors, huge sculpted pillars and sacred water tanks. Devotees bathe in the waters of Agni Theertham, off the beach east of the temple. Gandamadana Parvatham is a hill with island views. A chakra (wheel) here is said to bear an imprint of Lord Rama’s feet.

When to Travel

Rameshwaram a destination which can be visited all year round. However, the best time to visit is from October to April. The Monsoons (July to September) are humid with average rainfalls, but, the scenic view of the coastal region during these months is enjoyable.

DAY 1MADURAI - RAMESHWARAM

  • Arrive at Madurai Airport.
  • Meet our representative for transfer to Rameshwaram.
  • Welcome to the soul of Tamilnadu! The Panchabootha Sthala is known for its deep-rooted culture and vibrant people. Travel to Rameshwaram and get preoccupied with the character of Rameshwaram starting from Pamban Bridge.
  • Visit the Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple, one of the important jyotirlinga, and holy springs for a fulfilling spiritual experience.
  • After visiting Rama, Lakshmana, Agni, and Jada Thirtha get to see the floating stones in Pachamukhi (five-faced), Hanuman Temple.
  • Overnight at Rameshwaram

DAY 2RAMESHWARAM / DHANUSHKODI (B)

  • Breakfast at Hotel.
  • Visit the divine Rama Patham and Lord Rama’s Kothandaramaswamy Temple.
  • The erstwhile President of India DR A.P.J Kalam Sir’s House and Memorial are equally sacred spots to visit in this tour.
  • Spend some time praying, thinking, and learning near his Memorial before going to Dhanushkodi, the ghost town near Rameshwaram. An abandoned town after the 1964 Cyclone yet the ruins hold the beauty of the past.
  • Overnight at hotel.

DAY 3RAMESHWARAM - MADURAI (B)
